AKMind ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of learners, parents and guardians who use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use www.akmind.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Parent/Guardian name, email address and phone number
• Participant name and grade level (no other personal details about the participant)
• Demo booking details (date, time, course selected)
• Session cookies for login authentication
• Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, and card or bank details are never stored on AKMind servers

3. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule and conduct free demo classes
• To send booking confirmations and class reminders via email
• To improve our programs and platform
• We never sell your data to third parties

4. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored securely on AWS infrastructure located in India
• Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard bcrypt hashing
• Session data is signed with HMAC-SHA256 encryption
• We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services

5. Family & learner privacy

• We collect minimal information about participants
• We only collect a first name and grade level for the person taking part in demos and classes
• Parents and guardians have full control over participant data
• We comply with applicable Indian data protection laws

6. Cookies

• We use essential session cookies only for login functionality
• We do not use tracking or advertising cookies
• You can disable cookies in your browser settings

7. Your Rights

• You can request deletion of your account and data at any time
• Email hello@akmind.com to request data deletion or correction
• We will respond within 7 working days

8. Consent & Your DPDP Rights

• We process your personal data based on your consent under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023
• Before booking a demo, we present a clear notice of what we collect and why, and ask for your explicit, affirmative consent
• As participants may include children, we process a child's data only with verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian
• Your consent is recorded with a timestamp for our audit records
• You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@akmind.com. It is as easy to withdraw as it was to give
